"Every registered employer has to post pone the EID Milad festival and intimate to employees which is notified under Karnataka Industrial Establishment (National and Festival Holidays) Rules from 1st December 2017 to 2nd December 2017. All Employers (Factories and Establishments) have to frame the holidays as notified by the Labour Department and declare their holidays and submit the list in Form-I on or before 31st Dec 2017’.
"All employers in the state of Assam have to frame and declare the list of Holidays to be displayed in the establishment on or before 31st December both in Local Language and English language on the Notice Board and in any other conspicuous place in the establishment.
Every employee shall be allowed in each calendar year, a holiday of one whole day on the national holidays and festival holidays on Bohag Bihu, Durga Puja, Diwali, Christmas, Id-Ui - Fitr and any other occasion as may be specified by the government".
