Main Purpose

The main purpose of the DevOps Lead role is establishing DevOPs delivery for Teamlease and be the
leader in delivering solutions using DevOps processes and philosophy. She/He is expected to define the
CI / CD environment in an integrated SAAS environment . The successful candidate will be responsible for
being able to maintain the development and prod infrastructure along with the dev-ops tools in a highly
integrated bi-modal cloud based SAAS environment . The candidate will be responsible for maintaining
the cloud first strategy and provide guidance to the leadership on Industry best practices in the dev-ops

The key to success for this role is:

  • Building relationship with Teamlease business globally and become trusted advisor.
  • Deliver industry best practice solutions to the business using out of the box functionality.
  • Provide first class solutions to meet the business expectations.
  • Work with various teams in the IT Organisation in solutioning, planning, risk identification, issue resolution.

Leadership Excellence

  • Contribute, understand the Teamlease technology Strategy and ensure the team objectives are aligned.
  • Understand Industry best practices in the Devops space
  • Hands on leadership in the technology space , maintaining a leadership position in the dev-ops space by doing POC’s & trying out the latest tools and technology to recuce time to market and enhance quality Delivery Excellence
  • Develop, Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous
  • Delivery/Deployment environments
  • Responsible for establishing high efficient teams for successful digital transformation delivery as per Teamlease Vision.
  • Responsible for establishing industry specific best practices in establishing the Devops tools,
  • Responsible for Control development processes, platform and tools usage for solutions and delivery and enforce processes
  • Strong experience and expertise in DevOps solution delivery and strategy in a bi-modal IT environment
  • Broad knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in various cloud environments
  •  Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning and optimization, bottleneck problems analysis
  •  Solid technical expertise and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure & working knowledge Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Engine (GCE) will be a plus
  • Active community member and contributor to open source projects is a plus

  • Must have at least 10+ years of Experience in building applications using SDLC out of which atleast 3 years as a DevOps lead
  •  Experience in Deploying CI/CD tools that help Automated and quick turnaround on build and Deploy scenarios Prior experience providing solutions to the globally businesses.
  • Experience implementing Bi-Modal IT scenarios for deploying changes to production from both Agile and Waterfall development scenarios
  • Experience in leading teams that can resolve small code changes and deploy slip stream releases and maintain code integrity
  • Experience in understanding business challenges and provide innovate simple solutions to the business with out of the box thinking.
  • Experience working in loosely coupled SAAS platforms
  • Experience in building and managing efficient teams
  • Experience in various development methodologies. Waterfall, Agile,
